Emma has 18 years’ experience in administration and office management and since November last year, she has been working closely with the Family Reference Group in setting up the Pike River Recovery Agency.
Chief Executive Dave Gawn said: “Emma has been providing transitional support to the agency over the last five weeks and it’s fantastic to have her on board long-term.
“She’s exceptionally good at building and maintaining critical relationships and I’m delighted she’ll be continuing her work with the Family Reference Group.”
Emma will manage the agency’s relationship with the Family Reference Group and provide Executive Assistant support to the Chief Executive.
She has a wide ranging knowledge of government and is a solutions-focused problem solver.
